Check-call is superior to check-raising. Check-raising only folds out worse hands, better hands call.

I check/call the flop and lead the turn. You have no fold equity here if villain has any hand at all.
As played: lead the turn with a push. By leaving 15 behind, you are commited to the pot and betting the whole 35 would be only a slight overbet and maximizes fold equity. |

Villain could easily have 54 so definitely DON'T give a free card of any sort. Building a big pot on the flop will really help you play the turn and river easier. |
