Hi
I've just ordered a new Dell 24" Wide Screen Monitor and was just wondering if it will be compatable with my PS2 and Xbox 360? Thanks |

if you get an xbox to vga cable you can use that to play your xbox on the monitor (then use the dvi cable to connect your pc>monitor)
not sure about the ps2 though |

I used my Dell 20" widescreen to play my 360 so it should be good to go. The only problem was that I didn't have sound because the monitor didn't have speakers. So if the 24" doesn't have them either (which I think is true) you'll need an extension for the audio component so that you can plug it into a stereo or some other audio system.

[/ QUOTE ] correct. you either need to have optical in for your computer (which is a little more rare) or just get a cable that will transform RCA to stereo mini (red & white to little headphone jack) and plug it into line-in on your comp. |

I use my 360 on my 19" widescreen TFT, and use a "Headphone Jack to 2x RCA Female Phono" cable to connect from the xbox component cable to my AMP/Sound system...
only problem is that I use this amp for my PC too, so i have to keep switching audio cables if i want sound on my pc or xbox.. gets annoying as its hard to reach with my setup! |
