Yeah, I got the same exact offer. Wonder of this is an attainable thing to try and get? 8 table for an hour or so and boom yout there.

I got the email too but where does it say Top 40 get it? I'm hoping our Vip host picked 40 players and they'll all get it after 500p...

I'll get the 500 points done maybe tomorrow.

Here is the email I got, need to be the first 40 plyers AS I understand it???
\Hi Marc

First of all I want to wish you all the best over this festive season and a very happy new year.

I wanted to give my players a gift for this holiday season and I’ve got 40 digital camcorders which I thought would be the perfect way for you to record the high points of the upcoming year.

All you have to do to obtain one of these prizes is earn 500 player club points in my “Digital Camcorder Giveaway” promotion.

This starts at 00:00 EST on the 21st of December 2006 and continues for 7 days up to 23:59 EST on the 27th of December 2006.

Once you have obtained 500 points please either reply to this email or compose a new one to me at

The first 40 players to meet these requirements will each receive one of these prizes.

Please check that your address details are up to date on your account. You can do this by selecting the “update personal info” option from the “my account” drop down menu in the PartyPoker.com lobby.

I will get the prizes sent out as soon as possible but they might face delays caused by the high postal volumes over this festive period.

If you have any questions about this promotion please get back to me.

Yeah, yours says it clearly. My host didn't mention the first 40 players win. Looks like differant hosts send differant emails.

The camera was lousy anyway...but still...boohoo

No, my dudes name is Brian - I got the 500 points and emailed him, he said a camera in on the way - it is a Vivitar DVR 530 - like 130USD retail - better than nothing!

My host is Brian too. I forgot to email him when I got 500 points done. Sent him an email anyway last night (14 hour delay) and guess what...I won!

Prolly everyone who got the email and confirmed to take part in the competition will get a camera after 500 points. So send Brian or Stewart that email!
