I was pretty sure that I was behind when BB capped the flop. I was thinking about something like KQs. But can you lay down TPTK in this kind of pot? |

Re: AKo big multiway pot
i'm calling down but I don't know if i'm 3 betting that flop after the checkraise..BB looks pretty solid and he prolly knows your hand range...tought spot...
i'd put BB on KQ, 99, or JT |

Re: AKo big multiway pot
When BB woke up and check-raised the flop and UTG+2 coldcalled, I probably would have just called the raise instead of a 3-bet. Due to the size of the pot I'm probably calling the turn and would have considered folding the river (UTG+2 overcalling), but since UTG+2 folded I would have called that too on pot size alone!
My only question is on the flop, since UTG+2 capped it preflop and the pot size is so massive, should hero have waited until the turn to get aggressive (not knowing BB would wake up)? My gut tells me no but I'd like to see what others think. |

Re: AKo big multiway pot
hero is last to act on the flop and it is checked through to him. He has to bet there. After that I think he should just call the raise and call down. He's prolly behind given the fact that BB looks decent but the pot is too big.

[/ QUOTE ] I thought about calling the raise on the flop, but I also thought that I could improve my winning chances, if I could make sb to fold. I'm not sure, if this was correct. |

Re: AKo big multiway pot
I see what you're thinking and acknowledge its merit but I don't think that you're ahead enough of the time of BB's hand to worry about this right here.
I could be wrong though...i've definetely 3bet my fair share of hands in spots like this. I just hasn't worked out that often. |

Re: AKo big multiway pot
I don't think you need to worry so much about SB when you're facing this much aggression from other players.
