I just opened UB using old .exe file like I had been for the past 2 weeks or w/e and it made me update it. It seems that they have fixed this loophole. Anyone else experience this? I am going to close and try and do the old .exe thing again. We'll see but if this is the end I am cashing out immediately.

I recopied the old .exe file from PT website again though and it seems to be working fine. I have closed and reopend UB twice without any more complications.
Maybe they just made another software upgrade so that everyone had to update but once you update and replace the file again it works? Who knows |

I might make the move too if they try to patch this loophole up.

Updating creates a flag that UB checks everytime the program starts. The flag tells UB what version you are running. When you write over the 'new version', you don't change the flag, so UB's software thinks you are up to date.
You'll have to do this everytime the put out a software update until they fix their wacky policy. |

Yeah its just there was another update.
http://www.ultimatebet.com/help/software-updates.html Downgrading the ub.exe file again fixed the problem, so no worries. |

One thing you can do is move the file UBSOFTUPDATE.EXE out of the UB directory to somewhere else. The UB program still works for me and I'm now two updates behind. I don't plan on moving the file back until the hand history complaints stop.

That link says nothing about a new update, just the old one on November 15th

I had this problem, but simply repeated copying the old exe over the new one, and seems to be working ok again.
