Re: Best Father/Son Poker Players
[ QUOTE ]
i disqualify sebok/greenstein because sebok is his stepson and not his actual son (this is according to wikipedia, which is possibly wrong but i've never seen a resemblance at all so this makes sense to me). [/ QUOTE ] Wikipedia is correct. They're not related by blood. |

Re: Best Father/Son Poker Players
I haven't heard anything about Barry Shulman except being an overplaying lag who abuses dealers.

Re: Best Father/Son Poker Players
I think Doyle+Todd is pretty clearly the best.
BBV: I accidentally read the spoiler even though it was in white. I'll still watch the show, but that sucks. |

Re: Best Father/Son Poker Players
Im currently in Vegas staying with the Shulmans, got the breakdown on the whole tourny when berry got back from the woods. He said that it was pretty clear the brunson greenstien teams were the best. Btw hes a bit misunderstood but a good guy.

Yeah I guess Greenstein/Sebok might get some votes. [/ QUOTE ] I can't imagine why. Comparing Joe Sebok to Todd Brunson is a joke. If you don't know much about Todd, read this: |

If you don't know much about Todd, read this: [/ QUOTE ] I don't think anyone believes that Sebok is a better overall player than Brunson. But what can be argued is that Sebok is a better NLHE Tournament player than Brunson. (Which is the arguement some posters have made) Brunson doesn't have great results in NL tournaments where Sebok's results over the last few year's have been pretty impressive. (Then again I don't think Brunson plays as many tournaments as Sebok does though) Also the Proffessor, Banker and the Suicide King (a great book that everyone should read) doesn't really apply to this discussion because the games talked about in that book are Shorthanded Limit Hold' em cash games not NLHE tournaments. |
