Weeeee! I was contributor #3. So nice to see this thing at almost $11,000 and closing in on 140 donations.

Imagine how much woulda been raised if we'd started this thing a month ago instead of just a week ago??

I REALLY wish the PPA would start organizing things like this. This little 11k donation to make Kyl sweat is proof that there are some poker players out there willing to make a difference and most importantly, put their money where their mouth is. We just need some leadership.

Nice job! I just set up a similar page, Poker Players Against Leach (with a link to Poker Players Against Kyl). Leach was a sponsor of the bill in the House.

Although I don't know how much it will help, I also bought google adwords relating to poker in both Arizona and Leach's Iowa district.

They have thirteen non-Indian Casinos and three Indian Casinos. All Iowa casinos offer blackjack, roulette, craps, slots and video poker. Some casinos offer mini-baccarat, poker, pai gow, Caribbean stud poker, let it ride, big 6, bingo, keno, three card poker and Spanish 21. At three of their racetracks they have slot machines and in 2004 added table games. Does this sound like an anti-gambling state to you? Where does Jim Leach get the nerve to appear to be an anti-gambling crusader? How many people have lost house at Iowa Casinos and playing the Iowa lottery?
