Re: HU Etiquette
I usually say "I'll play 20 more hands" or something.

Re: HU Etiquette
yup. if you know you're leaving, just let your opponent know when you know. "10 mins" is fine. whatever.

Re: HU Etiquette
If the table is breaking and it gets down to 2, I will just leave unless I think I'm better than the other player. But I think if you want to leave immediately it's fine.
If I sit with someone HU or have been playing more than a few hands HU after a table breaks, I will usually give a warning between 5-15 min. and then another, like '5 more hands' or something right before I leave. |

Re: HU Etiquette
i think it matters a lot of you are sitting at a heads up table or not. if a 6 handed game gets down to two i have no problem leaving whenever i feel like it, like for example my name is up on a waiting list for another table or something. but if for some reason i know i'm leaving in 10 minutes i'll say so.
at a heads up table i think you should try to give notice about how long you plan to play when you start if it's only for a little while. also i think this is a lot more important at 25/50+ where the player pool is very small, action isn't always so readilly available, and you kind of get to know eachother. |

Re: HU Etiquette
with such a wide player base at midstakes, i dont think there is such thing as hu etiquette. people hit and run me 24/7, etc. at higher stakes, when good people actually willingly play against each other, there should be some type of etiquette
