Default $340 Live Line Check

Hi all. Just wanted a quick line check. Was pretty sure this was a push, but wanted to check.

$340 live tourney. 580 entrants, final table, down to 7 people.

Hero (button) 117,000 chips (4M)
SB 125,000 chips (plays smart ABC poker) (4.3M)
BB 400,000 chips (will gambool) (13.8M)

Blinds 5,000/10,000 +2,000 ante (29,000 pot)

Just checking my late game push.

Folds to hero, Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button

3 stacks ~125K, 1 stack 400k, 3 stacks ~180k, 7th pays $6k, they go up a few K at a time after that, but 1st is 50k and 2nd is 25k. I don't care about limping up a few K, I want the 50k.

No brainer push? Sorry for the really basic question, been a while since I final tabled, first one live in a big field.

Thanks!

I push this all day long and curse loudly when called by A9o and then start chanting (more often - CHATting) - "Three... three... three..."

I think this is a shove. One possible range for this might be to use the +EV hands from 3 handed while on the button.
Your M being lower than 10 makes any raise a shove. I tend to raise any +EV hand from an uponed pot. This would be the range :

33+, A2s+, A2o+, K2s+, K7o+, Q6s+, Q8o+, J6s+, J8o+, 65s+(sc), 97+ (One gap sc+)

nice shove, sorry to hear it didnt work out for you, especially considering the prize package for first and second, very top heavy tournament but still a nice payday for you!

I think with the high ante, I likely shove this as well. Online, I'm not sure if I shove this (though it's probably correct), but I'm nitty with a shortstack.

I want to say I like to open fold this as nitty and weak tight as it sounds.

All-in. You'll probably get called by the BB if your read is correct, but in all likelyhood, if BB is this willing to gamble, you're probably ahead of his calling range here with A-high anyway.
