Does Pacific Poker Still Give You The Bonus Up Front?
I am getting ready to sign-up for Pacific Poker through PokerSavvy(seems they have the best deal I could find) and I was wondering if Pacific still gives you the bonus money up front to play with as they have in the past? Also, is it still OK to withdraw your initial deposit a few days after depositing and just leave the bonus money in the account to play with? Thanks for your response.

Re: Does Pacific Poker Still Give You The Bonus Up Front?
yeah they give it to you upfront - deposit $400 for the full $100 bonus. i don't know about being able to withdraw your money straight away - i've got a feeling you have to complete the WR (300 points i believe) before any withdrawl will be processed. i could be wrong, but i wouldn't recommend withdrawing your $400 in any case:
1 - they may take away your bonus, and then you can't get the points from savvy. 2 - you'll need to play at least 1/2 or $50 max to clear this in any sort of reasonable time, and $100 in your account leaves you basically unable to multitable at those levels and leaves you no wiggle room if you catch a few unlucky breaks - which based on my experience is quite likely with some of the random gamblers playing at that site. you won't believe some of the play you see there. |

Re: Does Pacific Poker Still Give You The Bonus Up Front?
you can - i'm just saying that two tables is barely multitabling. this bonus isn't quick to clear at all - i like being able to play at least three at that level, which needs more than the $100.
i don't see the advantage of withdrawing to be honest, unless he definitely needs the money to do something else for some reason. and if that's the case, his bankroll may well be too small to be playing those sorts of limits. if he ends up winning straight away and doesn't need the full $500, great - nothing really lost by having a few hundred sitting around as a buffer though, surely. |

Re: Does Pacific Poker Still Give You The Bonus Up Front?
yeah, I'm working on the pacific/savvy combo right now. they gave me a $125 bonus and said it was $250 to clear, plus $90 from pokersavvy. pretty sweet imo, since I've almost cleared it in 2 days playing 3 tables of 2/4 6 max.
