Default NFL Week 3

undefeated week 1, piss-poor week 2 [thank you GB and PHL!] let's see some early week 3 lines that look interesting:

Cinci +3 -101 at Pitt, leaning right now.
Chicago -3 -110 at Minny. Still no faith in Vikes.
Sea -3.5 -104 v NYG. Better passing attack and Shaun A.
PHL -6 -105 at SF. If PHL doesn't collapse, this is 9 or more.
ATL -3 -110 at NO light. I don't think this is the slam-dunk everyone else does.
possibly Zona -4.5 at home v STL. STL is not that good on the road, ever.

Baltimore -6. This may be a big rivalry, but it has lost a lot of fire. Id say very few people on the browns staff was around when the Art Modell incident occurred. The first few years you would see, people with dummies hung in the tree with an art modell sign. You dont see that anymore. Baltimore will destroy cleveland. Id be suprised if cleveland scored more than 10 points in this game.

I feel like the Browns under Romeo have replaced the Haslett Saints as the "bad unpredictable team you should never wager for or against". I was close to 0-16 picking their games ATS last year, and I think they'll cover here, so take the Ravens probably.

I already took the Bears and Philly. Will also probably jump on Atlanta. I like the Seattle pick but I'm still not sure enough to place it. Cinci/Pitt is probably a game I'll stay away from, as is Zona/St. Louis. And the more I think about it the more I really like the Ravens this week.

I agree about these three games NajdorfDefense
in the seattle/giants game i think seattle wins i dont know for sure if they cover the spread - but sam madison stinking at CB & seattle having deion branch & darryl jackson... i like seattle to win this game but i'm not betting it because i'm not sure which giant team is gonna come out to play. other pro's for the seattle pick are the NYG's lack of will to blitz for some reason, if they give Hasselbeck time like they gave mcnabb the results will be closer to how they were over three periods in the last game

atl @ -3 1 unit ( iagree not a slam dunk)
phil @ -6 4 units - i agree w/njador's thoughts
chi @ -3 1 unit
my ytd 2/3 + 2 units

Phi - SF is certainly my first port of call when the first half lines are released. Sadly i expect it will be -4 and I'll have to do research, -3 and i probably just jump in.

I live in Cincy and hate to say this but the evil steelers get this one due to injury. David Pollack (starting olb), Dexter Jackson, (starting SS), Odell Thurman (starting MLB) and Rich Braham, (starting C) are all out. TJ Houshmanzedah,(#2 WR), questionable, and Chad Johnson has a concussion is questionable........sigh that is a lot to overcome on the road against the now healthy steelers.

thanks, I saw Pollack was out, will prolly avoid that one then.

MyTurn - fair warning, last year I was atrocious first 2 months of NFL season before getting in the black during the playoffs. Not like we're moving the line though, so ride on.

The ATL game does make me a little nervous, I mean, NO is undefeated, at home, and came back down 13 at Lambeau, that's not the usual-roll-over-and-die Aaron Brooks at QB anymore.

Erasmus James for the Vikings is out for the season will probably hurt there pass rush. The players who will replace him are Darrion Scott, and Ray Edwards just an FYI.
