Re: The Old Min-CheckRaise
I am not disagreeing with you, Jim. I was simply questioning his description of the strength of my hand.
The reason is that I usually see this min-CR more often on the turn, and usually after a firing a second barrel in position. I've found that it usually means a stronger holding on the flop when the raiser is OOP. I do agreeing with pushing though, which is what I did. Is there really another play? |

Re: The Old Min-CheckRaise
I'm the first one in the pot. 3x has been my standard raise in this situation and will continue to be.

Re: The Old Min-CheckRaise
If youre convinced theres no other play, I dont see the need to post the hand. I have no problem with pushing though. Ive done it in that exact spot lots of times.
So what happened? |

Re: The Old Min-CheckRaise

I moved in, he called instantly, the turn and river blanked and he showed the K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Nice call bustr. |

Re: The Old Min-CheckRaise
Don't be too results-oriented. He happened to have the flush AND you happened to not suck out. That's the worst-case scenario.
