5/10 AQo, quick question.
Party 5/10 NL 6-max.
I ($1600) raise to $35 UTG w/ AQo, called by the button ($1200) who is TAGish, probably a winning player. 2 players ($82) Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet $55, he calls. 2 players ($192) Turn: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Plan? Do you like a check or a bet here, and why? |

Re: 5/10 AQo, quick question.
I like c/c this turn. This way you get extra bet out of TT-88 type hand, either here or on river. You dont sacrifice much against his QJs/QTs/KQs as you're probably not getting two more bets there anyway. And in this spot, you'd hate to be raised if he has QcJc/67s type hand. So sometimes you're letting him draw, but keeping pot smaller oop and avoiding being raised by pair/draw combo outweighs this imo.

Thanks, seems check/call is a better turn line.
In the actual hand I bet the turn $175, he raised to $500....easy fold, yes? |
