*NFL Survivor* - Week 1
Who do you guys have this week?
Arizona, Philly and New England all look to be popular picks. |

But honestly, I don't particularly want to take any of those three. SEA is on the road, and I really don't trust Kurt Warner, which leaves NE as my default play. However, part of me is considering taking Carolina at home. Is this just dumb? ML4L |

Trust me on this one: NEVER take a road team. Never, never, NEVER, never NEVER.

Re: *NFL Survivor* - Week 1
This is probably the only week where you can use ARI with any confidence (first home game in new stadium, against a 49ers team with a terrible defense). So might as well get them over with, so you can save SEA and NE for later weeks.

Carolina should be one of the stronger teams in the NFC. Surely they'll have an easy game later in the season. Also, Atlanta isn't a bad team. Arizona is only a middling team, they might not have another easy game all year. The problem is that no one has played yet. SF is "supposed" to be bad. Carolina is "supposed" to be good. But PHI was "supposed" to be good last year, and they weren't. That's why the first few weeks of Survivor are a crapshoot until you know who the good teams are. |

Re: *NFL Survivor* - Week 1
AZ at home with full crowd, actually rooting for Cards for once, EDGE's first game and chance to prove he was worth the money n hype.
N Alex Smith n the 49ers have to go up against an offense they simply cant stop. Warner has been in a serious groove so far If ever u were going to bet yr life on the cards...this is the game. |

You're right
Alex Smith simply cannot stop the Cards offense FYI-a few of the St. Louis fans of the Arizona Cardinals have started to come out of the woodwork. The excitement is far-reaching. |
