I would fold every single hand on the turn. [/ QUOTE ] Me too except JJ I'd probably wait and fold the river but I'm a fish so sue me. |

Re: Plugging a leak
perhaps all these calls add up to some good ones, but in all seriousness I can't see how you're a winner at 600nl with calls like these. :O
perhaps move down to 200NL and make these laydowns? the money will mean less so it'll be even harder to lay hands down even if you know you're beat, thus conditioning you to lay them down at 600+NL |

Re: Plugging a leak

What is your Party SN? I've been playing alot of 3/6 lately, maybe my read on you could help a bit.. Sometimes when I'm running bad I make similar calls because I'm thinking "no way I got turned again.." or "no way this guy has another big hand.." etc.. So when you're making calls like this I'd advise to take a break and restart a new session with a clean slate and a clear mind. [/ QUOTE ] Thats exactly what I needed to hear right now, thanks mate. I get in that mode where "poker hates me" look at this clown's middle pair making trips on the river again, I'll call just so I can curse how unlucky I am, no way that guy called a pot sized bet on the turn with just a gutshot and hit it, lets look him up" I would be a rich man if I could plug this leak, need to keep reminding myself that if I keep paying them off when they hit their draws, who the real donkey is. |
