Just some info...

My brother worked for sen john warner for a year, 2-3 years ago. One of the main things he did was write responses to letters. He said in general letters sent through real mail got a bit more personalized responses, though they were still pretty standard. Emails pretty much got form letter responses.

As far as john warner's involvement, he didn't know much of anything about the mail/letters coming in. I doubt he could even tell you what the form letter responses say. At best, he might know if there has been some noticeable long lasting volume of mail in supporting one side of a topic, but even that is pretty doubtful.
