Ya swong, but probably on flops like A 6 4 rainbow or K 8 6 or maybe even T 6 5 where there is only one overcard, not a lot of draws, and when you CBet you put the EP or Blind player to a tough decision.

The flop c-bet was more or less an auto-pilot kind of thing, but you do make some good points about the texture of this particular flop vs. other flops where a c-bet is more likely to succeed. I'll definitely keep that in mind going forward.

The only reason I bet the turn is so I can fold to a c/r. Of course, I just about never bet the turn and would probably fold the river UI.

Tom,

I don't think our hand is so worthless that its not worth one SB to see a river, which we'll be able to do most of the time in this HU pot. If the turn and river come deuce deuce, I'll often call a river bet, opponent-dependent.

I'd bet the flop, but not the turn.

I would check the turn.
if he is beaten is not likely he will improve on the river(u favourite with many holdings) so even if u call the river is same cost of 1 bet u made on turn exposing yourself. With same cost u can get someone who would fold to bluff(this is the guy who would fold to your bet and this is the only way to make him pay) or someone with a monster hand or very weak check the river to you at no extra cost.
