200 NL set
Both callers were slightly loose and slightly passive and probably called a little to often.

Re: 200 NL set
I do think that you should raise a little more on the flop, why I cant really explain. Value? Not let them draw out on you to cheaply?
I think the turn is pretty bad as youre letting TP get away to easy. I think only betting like $50 gives you much better value. |

Re: 200 NL set
Make it $40-$45 to go on the flop. That way your turn push is a pot sized bet (or can bet half pot and get them committed on a safe turn card.)
As played, with a board that dry, what hands are calling your turn overbet? Just bet $50-$60 and get the rest in on the river. |

Re: 200 NL set
I like raising a little bit more on the flop becasue it makes it easier to get all-in postflop.
Your turn push really sucks. I hope they called, but I doubt they did... |

Re: 200 NL set
The flop is ok, but I would probably go $25 instead of $20. The turn is terrible, unless your opponents love to snap of huge overbet bluffs. You just killed your action will all hands that you are beating. As villian I may even fold J8 here.
The board is pretty dry, bet about 50-60 on the turn. |

Re: 200 NL set
Am I the only one who thinks that turn push is absolutely gut-wrenchingly disgusting? Your small flop re-raise has invited hands like AJ Tag along. Squeeze some more out of them man!! IMO turn bet should be 3/4 pot at most.
btw I very much like the size of your flop raise. You're basically slowplaying, and if there was a board where slowplaying trips is OK, this is it. |
