Re: OESD + Flush. draw
I probably lead the flop for 5 dollars and 3-bet allin. If I smooth called and the turn bricks, I realize that playing draws OOP sucks.

Re: OESD + Flush. draw
"standard" would be to C/R AI on the flop or to b/3b it

Re: OESD + Flush. draw
Here's where I'm confused. I'm 95% sure that CO is going to push the turn, or at least bet big enough that I either have to push or fold.
Does my draw necessitate that I see the river no matter what? And if so, doesn't the bit of fold equity I have on the turn make an open push better than a check/call all in? Or should I just check on the off chance that he's going to give me a free river. |

Re: OESD + Flush. draw
i like C/R all in here as a 3 bet can lead to trouble if the turns a blank

Re: OESD + Flush. draw
dont cold call on the flop. Looks like youre on a draw and if a diamond comes you probably wont get paid off.
I would checkraise all-in on the flop. It makes no sense to push on the turn since you are no longer a favorite in the hand. You may get hands like AQ and QJ to fold to a check-raise all-in on the flop. Also if MP actually has a hand he may fold the best hand since CO raised behind him. |

[/ QUOTE ] not if "as soon as possible" means the turn, b/c you have less pot equity then and less folding equity. |

Re: OESD + Flush. draw
you will get more fold equity C/R all in on the flop villans may put you on a set with this kind of play plus you have your money in with the best of it

[/ QUOTE ] Your draw doesnt mean that you have to see the river. On the turn since you didn't make your draw youre only 30% to make a flush or a straight on the river. Your fold equity is MUCH higher with a CR all-in on the flop. AQ probably can't call unless he thinks youre a LAGtard, everything folds IMO except 2-pair or a set. Check-calling an all-in on the turn would be a mistake since youre all-in and you need to be getting 4:1 to make this call profitable. |
