I bet this flop as well, but for the sake of discussion...

I was watching Dave Fromm's short handed video yesterday and he describes an almost idential situation except that instead of QQ, hero has KK. He suggests playing the hand the way op did. Fromm said, as op did, that this can induce bluffs. I tend to disagree, I actually thought about the fact that checking the flop after raising pf is often a sign of a monster and it might just make villian c/f the turn. Does anyone agree with Fromm and op? if so, convince me.
