Default Tricky spot...Continuation betting vs shorties

Full Tilt Poker, NL Hold'em Tournament, 25/50 Blinds, 9 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

UTG+2: 1,718
Hero (MP1): 5,354
BB: 663

Pre-Flop: (75) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (MP1)
3 folds, Hero raises to 175, MP2 folds, BB calls 175, 3 folds

Flop: (425) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players), BB checks
Hero bets 425, BB raises to 488 and is All-In, Hero calls 63

Turn: (1,401) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

River: (1,401) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 1 is All-In)

My question is, in position, heads up with unpaired cards vs a shortie that called a raise, and will check raise all in or check/fold on nothing boards, is it better simply to check behind and c/f turn if unimproved?
