What is the best way to calculate the effect rake has on your winrate.
With all the different methods of calculating rake, I was wondering what method was the "pure" method of calculating the effect of rake if no rake-back existed.
So I thought of a method, but I haven't seen this method around, so I must be taking a wrong turn somewhere. This is what I was thinking: - Rake only impacts me if I win a pot - if I get the full pot, I lose 100% of the rake paid on this pot - if I get x% of the pot (losing a main pot and winning a side pot for example) I roughly lose x% of the rake paid. Would this be a good way to calculate the impact of rake on your winrate? (with this method I calculated I lose about 3.6PTBB per 100 hands, small sample size though, 11K) Any thoughts? |
