short stack on BB facing min raise
Near the end of an STT, 3 to 5 players remaining, I am the short stack at about 5-6 BB. I am in the BB(that left me with 4 BB), with some mediocre like K3o or Q6o. The button or CO with >13BB raise to 2BB, all fold to me, what shall I do here?
The pot odds are good here given that he can raise with anything, probably i'm having 2nd-4th high card against 1st-3rd, so 37-63 chance or better. Shall I call/push/fold here? I guess calling is non-sense, so what range of hands would be a push and what range of hands would be a fold? In history, I pushed with Q6 K3 J7(and all lost) but folded 95 Q3 J2. Also, is it correct that I should fold with mediocre if BTN/CO raise to 3BB or more? |
