This was pretty much the best flop I could hope for, barring flopping a set, yet I can't find it in me to take this all the way. This was a 9 man STT, so top 3 pay. I was in good position and didn't feel this was a spot for all my chips.
Most of the people in this STT didn't really bet unless they had something pretty good. I'm usually TAG but had been playing LAG most of this game because most of the table seemed easily exploitable for blind steals and c-bets. Also, I took down a pot very early with 56s against Button's AA when he did not raise PF or on the flop and I turned a flush. About 10 hands ago I 3-barreled a monotone board with 82o and showed the bluff when he folded. Yet, I can't see this play as terribly out of line. Was this fold weak? (Final note: I know the smooth call OOP was probably a bad idea, but I had been outplaying him postflop quite well, so take that for what it's worth...)
