Default How to play: Possible Freeroll Oppurtunity with TP on 3 Flush

So here a predicament that came up twice in tourneys I played today

Besides forgetting to raise the limper preflop. On the flop I have top pair with a good kicker, and my line is just to let him do the betting. Now the turn comes and he leads, this seems like a good spot to shove now and take him off possibly the best hand. What if his stack was the same size as mine, put in a raise but then fold to a 3 bet (assuming the odds are no longer their).

The other situation was when I had AxQc and board came out Ac7c2x8c, should I put in a raise here?

So the main question is should I continue to call down and not play a big pot, or stick it in with the semi-bluff draw (possible freeroll).
