Live 20/40 Gar vs. Pro Part 1
Location: Bay 101 in San Jose, CA
Stakes: $20/$40 Players: Ok semi-loose 9-handed. Aggressive table, but not tricky. Only *** of 5 stars. There is a Pro to my right who to my knowledge has logged well over a thousand hours at 20/40. Principal players: UTG – Pro. Has played tight aggressive. But not overly aggressive. Seems pretty decent. UTG+1 – Garland. TAG, with such image and others can sense that. UTG+2 – LAG middle aged Chinese gambler. Has made moves like check-raising the flop and then check-folding the turn rather quickly to me implying he was just making a pure move. Preflop action: (1.5 small bets, 9 players) UTG limps, I have - - and am already confused what to do, but take a few seconds and call, UTG+1 calls, 3 other people including the blinds are in. Here we go! Flop action: (6 small bets, 6 players) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG bets, I raise, UTG+2 3-bets, all else fold to UTG who caps. Ok, start putting people [including myself] on hands and what should I call with? All comments appreciated, results to come. Garland |
