Default 25 Max - FD + gutshot vs a nit turned aggressive

Villain is 16/5/2.5 after 140ish hands. Called preflop because UTG is 48/17 and looks like a spewball. I usually would raise this flop heads up but was giving him credit for a big hand that probably isn't folding, based on his lead into a multiway pot and into the preflop raiser. Do you guys raise this? Call down as far as I did? Comments all over please.
