Top Two on Flop
Hi guys,
Can you please tell me if I played this right? I only played about 20 hands against this guy but he was playing almost everything and raising a lot preflop. I am wondering if check raising with top two is generally a good move against a preflop raise on a board like this? Table 'Davao': $0.50-$0.50 Pot Limit OH (Real) Seat 0: UTG+1 ($39.40 in chips) Seat 1: UTG+2 ($100.45 in chips) Seat 4: MP ($102.60 in chips) Seat 5: Villain ($56.65 in chips) Seat 6: Button ($38.40 in chips) (on the button) Seat 7: SB ($51.25 in chips) Seat 8: Hero ($33 in chips) Seat 9: UTG ($32.30 in chips) *** Blind Bet Round *** : SB : Post Blind ($0.50) Hero : Post Blind ($0.50) Dealt to Hero: Kd 9d Ah Jc *** Pre-Flop *** : UTG : Fold UTG+1 : Fold UTG+2 : Fold MP : Fold Villain : Bet ($2) Button : Fold SB : Call ($1.50) Hero : Call ($1.50) *** Flop *** : 7d As 9c SB : Check Hero : Check Villain : Bet ($6) SB : Fold Hero : Raise ($24) Villain : Raise ($36) Hero : Call ($7) Hero : All In ($31) *** Turn *** : [ 7d As 9c ] 5h *** River *** : [ 7d As 9c 5h ] 8s *** SUMMARY *** Pot: $76 | Rake: $3 Board: [ 7d As 9c 5h 8s ] Villain bet $44, collected $76, net $32 Shows [ Jh 4c 6s 8d ] (a straight, nine high) Hero lost $33 Shows [ Kd 9d Ah Jc ] (two pairs, Aces and nines) |
