Since I have a feeling I'm a few months further along in the process than you I can tell you that it gets better. Especially once you really convince yourself that regardless of what happens you will never get back together with her. In a little bit it'll still suck to think about, but you'll be a lot better at not thinking about it. At least, until someone else starts a thread on the exact same topic.
