Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
[ QUOTE ]
limit tilts, but it is a more longterm exhaution tilt, likewise with sngs You don't get the shocks that are inherent in NL and you can't bluff away a stack. And honestly .. I don't believe limit is less profitable than NL, I think NL in many ways is easier as you can just autonit it, but limit you need a lot of reads. I don't believe that nitting up a limit table will get you anywhere ... and you need to know if calling down with K high or betting 65s on that 589T board is for value [/ QUOTE ]Yeah, it's a different kind of tilt. I still play what I think is correctly at all times, against my opponent. In NL tend to start making godawful calls, where in limit calling with a pair on river isn't *too* bad in most cases. Getting stacked makes me sick. Losing 5 bb's because some idiot hit runner runner flush, meh I don't care. And it can definitely be played on less tables more fun/efficently. IMO it vastly helps your hand reading and value betting skills. So much that NL players should play it from time to time just to improve in those areas. P.S. Up 60 bb's 2tabling today, heh. *jinx* |
