Default Weird Equity

Just did some equity calcs for a hand and came up with a really odd result. In this hand we had top 2pair, and most of his range was either hands that were crushing us (set+) or draws that were flipping with us (He c/r after I lead in a 3way flop). Rather than get it allin I decided to call and wait to get it in on a safe river. The reason being is that the equity from his draws would be cut in half, so i'd either be crushed or 3:1 favourite.

Turns out our equity doesn't change on the turn. The only reason I can think of is that our equity loss vs QQ/TT offsets our equity gain from the draws.
