If you push turn, what are you hoping to fold out?

Well, we fold some of his range preflop, then more of his range on the flop, then even more of his leftover range on the turn.

Lol.

Turn push is fine if he is the type to call flop lightly with any pair b/c "he beats AK".

But against a lot of guys a turn push sucks because on such a dry flop, very little of his flop calling range is c/folding the turn.

So bet flop. Take free card if he calls.

Ans let's say he c/pushes over your $30 cb. Pot is $322, it's $153 for you to call. You should probably call. Your equity is 31% if he's NEVER EVER EVER bluffing:

Board: 5c 9s Jd
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 31.431% 31.43% 00.00% 12758 0.00 { 8h7c }
Hand 1: 68.569% 68.57% 00.00% 27832 0.00 { JJ+, 99, 55, AJs, J9s, AJo }
