Big Screen TV's - How did I miss out on that boat?

Holy Shyte, big screen TV rocks!

Although this is probably in the nature of a life beat in that I'm just now catching up on what every other schlub in the world seemingly already has, I'm pretty stoked.

So we just bought moved into a new house on Friday (which is not a brag, given the we're now mortgaged up to our eyeballs - although its a pretty sweet house). And we have a big bonus room so we sprung for a new TV.

57 inches of high def, baby! (Hey, its an el-cheapo as these things go but man does it look sweet.). We don't have the cable hooked up yet, but Revenge of the Sith in a upconverter to High-Def dvd player was beyond cool.

And in an added bonus, my wife, who has always looked at me like I have two heads when I've suggested a big screen, and has always said she didn't see any point to something larger than our 32 inch set, looked over at me when we were watching movies and said, "I hate to admit it, but this is incredibly awesome...")

Ok, boring to most of y'all, I'm sure, but man the thing is super sweet.
