Ryan,
I think Yeti made a mistake banning Assani. I think you made a mistake demodding Yeti. However, neither of those things was that big a deal in the grand scheme of things imo, and easily changed back. Mods jumping all over Yeti (and NT in other threads for another example) is pretty pathetic, though. All this indignant reaction about a 3-hour ban seems sorta ridiculous when bans of PITTM after his reinstatement were just a big hilarious joke to everyone. As for your question, I think there's simply a big divide between groups of mods regarding what it actually means to be a mod here and how much they think it actually matters.
