Default 3-Bet KK and an A Flops.

I need some general guidance when 3-betting KK and an A comes on the flop how to proceed with the hand. I can get pretty lost especially against unknowns.

FWIW I am not one to 3-bet light that often, so anyone that has a history with me or is paying attention at the table knows that.

This is FR, not 6Max.

Example hand, effective stacks 100BB

Hero in LP with Kh, Kc

Preflop: MP opens 4BB, Hero raises to 12 BB. MP calls

Flop 24BB: As, Jd, 2d

Typical range for MP opening PF and calling 3-bet is TT+, AJ+. Possible but less likely are any PP, KQs. AK, KK, and AA are less probable because 2Ks and 1 A are out.

If I get checked to, I can fire but I値l most likely only be called by a better hand. I値l have to fold to a raise or a Turn lead. If I fire there really aren稚 any worse hands I see calling.

But if I check I can see QQ or TT leading a safe Turn and I知 gonna hate putting another 20+BB into this pot. Any decent player is going to pounce on me on the Turn if I check the flop.

What is the standard line here against unknowns?
