Default $120 Live MTT: Tough River Spot

$120 Live MTT. I have 15K chips and have been playing very tight so far. The opponent in this hand has about 20K and seems to be one of the few thinking players. He is probably in his late 20s. The blinds were 100/200 and we were 9-handed.

Preflop
I raise UTG to 600 with AsQs.
The opponent calls from the SB.

Flop
Ad 8c 3h (1300 in the pot)
He checks and I bet 900. He thinks for 30 seconds and makes the call.

Turn
6h (3100 in the pot)
He leads 1200 into me. I think for a bit and make the call.

River
4h (5500 in the pot)
He bets 2400 and I tank for like 2 minutes and fold.

I couldn't put him on a weak ace that hit two pair since I raised UTG with a tight image. The only hands I could see him playing this way were 33, 88, or AT-AK of hearts which wanted to see a cheap river by leading out on the turn.

Was this a good fold or should I have called with over 3 to 1 odds?
