Default Re: QQ vs AM

Doing the math, and correct me if I'm wrong. We get a bit more equity out of AK by shoving preflop then we do calling then shoving the flop with no A/K.

Equity calculations =
All in pre
(0.56)(504.40) - (0.44)(504.40) =
282.464 - 221.936 = $60.53 equity

Call pre
(0.66)(173)-(0.33)(173) =
114.18 - 57.09 = $57.09 equity

This is assuming that if an A/K comes we fold, if an A/K doesn't come he folds. Also based on A or K coming 1/3 of the time.

I think its also better to shove pre, as it folds out hands that are trying to resteal which might out flop us. Again if you're getting it in on that low flop, AA / KK is stacking us no matter what. Only significant hand that changes on the flop is AK, AA / KK are staying largely the same on a low flop, so really its a matter of if you're prepared to get it all in on that low flop, you have to maximize against his range, which means getting it in pre flop vs AK against seeing flop then deciding.
