10 NL Fighting a maniac deep, facing river push
I'm playing a very nitty game, but I'm also very agressive. The maniac has been on the table for about 40 hands, and whenever we have tangoed, (I c-bet) he raises, I fold. Happened at least twice now. Then comes along this gem.
Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 4 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $16.20 BB: $15.90 UTG: $21.60 BTN: $7.60 Preflop: Hero is dealt 7 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 Players) UTG calls $0.10, BTN folds, Hero raises to $0.50, BB folds, UTG calls $0.40 Standard Flop: ($1.10) 2 9 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $1.10, Hero calls $1.10 I figure I quite possibly have the best hand here, but I want to go for pot control, so c/c Turn: ($3.30) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets $3.30, Hero calls $3.30 Repeating the thoughts on the flop River: ($9.90) 6 (2 Players) Hero checks, UTG bets all-in for $16.70, Hero... This is a great river card. Villain might now think his A is good. He might have a legit hand. He might have anything. Villain pushes for 1.5x pot here and I'm lost Crovax |
