[/ QUOTE ] i actually think this was a pretty good matchup for the rockies on paper tonight. i don't think we are more of a favorite in game 1 with beckett than we are with dice k versus whomever in game 3 simply because francis is usually waaaayyyy better than whoever that guy is. but whatever, gg sox [/ QUOTE ] Well, I think the argument is that playing in Coors field will favor the Rockies a bit more than the average "home field advantage," between the Sox having to give up Ortiz or Youk (most likely, at least) and having Manny playing in a massive left field. Of course, the way that Holliday was fielding his position tonight, maybe that advantage isn't as big as people may have figured. Edit: And yeah, gg Sox. |
