rzk Any Idea how to find the st deviation from the filter? [/ QUOTE ] i don't think it's possible. but i remember it to be around 3bb/hand for an average hand that sees the flop from some query that i wrote a while back. this translates to 30bb/100 of course, compared with 16bb/100 for all hands. so your winrate with those hands is 0.15bb/hand +/- 0.05bb/hand (+/- refers to 1 stdev). EDIT: btw, even without that query, the stdev for a hand that sees the flop can be estimated as follows. i see the flop roughly 1/4 of the time and my total stdev for 1 hand is 1.6bb, so my variance is 1.6^2 (you can subsitute your own total stdev and percentage of flop seen, but you should get a very similar final result). if stdev for a hand that sees the flop is x, the variance is x^2. assuming the variance for a hand that doesn't see the flop is 0 and assuming the average win for a hand that sees the flop is much closer to 0 than both 1.6bb and x, we have from the definition of variance: 1.6^2=3/4*0+1/4*x^2, from which x=2*1.6=3.2bb/hand. |
