that freakonomics article is also an old one and also pre-dates Absolute's admission of what happened. Some of the info is dated including the implication of Scott Tom in that article...who AP now says was merely the guy who was 'set up' by the actual guy who did it.
It was a good article, just letting people know that quite a bit has happened since Oct 17 including AP's admission on Oct 19. The MSNBC article has more current info than the yahoo and freakonomics articles.
