Florida B&M, straight possible and paired board
Florida B&M. 1-2NL, max $100 buy-in, with a $2 blind on the button (cardrooms are now taking a $2 rake on $5, so the extra blind equals a drop), 9 handed.
Fifth hand at a new table and I don't have much of a read on anyone except the lady in the BB who won the last pot with J4o. I wonder if flat calling the flop was way slow; I think I have a tendancy to play passive or bet short on the flop with these little stacks. Effective stack is $100 Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP and CO limp for $2, Hero(button) checks his blind, SB calls $1 Flop: ($10) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, BB checks, MP checksCO bets $10, Hero calls $10, SB folds, BB calls $10, MP folds. Turn: ($40) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks, CO bets $20, Hero raises to $50, BB folds, CO calls River: ($140) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) CO checks, Hero ? I have just $38 behind now as does the CO. I'm trying to figure out why he's still around after the turn action. Check or value bet my teeny stack? |
