Default B&M 1/2 -- massive UTG over-raise

1/2 NL at the casino.

The table is very active. 40-50% of hands are getting raised and the standard is $12. Villain's been in line with that. Open-raise to $35 is way out of line. The biggest in the previous 3 hours was $15.

It's about 1:00 a.m., two hours from closing time so some players are getting tired. I don't think villain is.

Villain is Asian and has been active. We played one hand two hours ago where he tried to bluff all-in on a 3-flush, overcard river but he didn't have enough money to force me out and I had turned a boat anyways. He's bluffed in a couple of spots on the river (dangerous boards when in position) and has shown down some good hands as well. He cold-calls too much pre-flop and doesn't appear to consider position. He hasn't suffered any big or bad beats recently.

I probably appear tight, but I've been a little looser than normal since tripling up my stack an hour ago. Relative to most of the table, I'm tight.

Effective stacks $235. I cover. I'm not even remotely worried about MP1...he could, and likely does have, a marginal hand (connector, suited connector, AT, something like that).

HERO dealt Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in MP3

UTG raises to $35, MP1 all-in for $51, folded to Hero, Hero pauses for a long time, looks downstream where no one seems interested, and...???
