chasing gut shots
I hate to bring this up because it feels like an elementary question but I have been playing a bit of low limit hold'em (live play) mostly in AC.
Very typically I am getting the right price to play for a gut shot in these low limit games. I believe the odds of hitting a gut shot is 10.5:1. I call often times but I feel like I am leaking my money away many times as calling sometimes leads to a pair but not the straight. Should I always play this in low limit if the price is right. I have not had much success at LL Hold'em and I am wondering if chasing this sort of hand is just a leak or if I am truly justified in doing so. |
