Default Range Merging sorta- To thin on the river? (8/16)

I have been at this table for like fifteen minutes. I have been pretty quiet and sucked out on villains set when my two pair boated up on the river. He seems to call a lot preflop, but hasn’t done anything to out of line while at the table. So my read is still kind of unsure on what kind of player he is.

$8/$16
(5 handed)

<u> Stacks </u>
Hero ($1840)
BB ($1576)

<u>Preflop: </u>
3 folds, Hero makes it $48 in SB w/ 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] , BB calls $32.

<u>Flop: ($96) </u>
6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero bets $73, BB calls.

<u> Turn: ($242) </u>
5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $188, BB calls.

<u> River: ($618) </u>
2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero bets $460, (and plans on folding to a shove)

Do you guys like a smaller bet on the river? A check/call?
