[ QUOTE ]
calling sucks because we commit ourselves to another 2BB with a hand that is SAWB [/ QUOTE ] How so? We're getting 6:1 immediate, and our position means we have decent implieds, on the flop and there's a non-zero chance that Villan is just taking a shot and will give us a free card on the turn. Once he fails to give us said free card, we're getting 4.5:1 immediate and our implieds are reduced significantly because there's only one street left. Call the flop donk, take the free card or fold the turn UI. If you see an ace or six, go to war. Edit: Oliver, SAWB = Slightly Ahead, Way Behind, a variation on WA/WB (Way Ahead, Way Behind). The idea is that if you're ahead, Villan is likely to have a lot of outs against you, and if you're behind you likely have very few outs against him. |
