well, that's not exactly what I meant.
Aba does outplay people. But he's not doing some wild "put you to a decision for all your chips, you better have the nuts, I'm go to play my draws one way 37% of the time and another way 73% of the time" thing every hand. He's is all about bluffing when he thinks you don't have much (or where he doesn't have much and can't really go to showdown) and value betting. So he's using alot of range/logic thinking each street, whereas most regs are just doing alot of pot control stuff and rarely betting thin or bluffing after the flop. Now, whether this is good or not at 50nl is debatable. My experience is that the Aba way works well at 50nl, as long as we are cautious and being aggressive against passivity, rather than against aggression. |
