100NL, BVB Battle: Turned Flush with KQdd
100nl on Stars
Folded to Hero in SB who makes it 4 with K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain re-raises to 12. KQs is obviously a strong hand relative to the range of hands that I would open with from the sb, so my choices are between calling and reraising. I think that calling and outplaying my opponent post-flop is clearly the right play here because my hand plays well post flop. If people take a different line against an unknown with no reads, I'd like to hear thoughts on that as well. Anyhow the main fun is post flop. Flop ($24) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I thought the pot was SLIGHTLY too small to c/r allin because I anticipated a flop bet of between 10-15 from the villain (we each started with 100). I decided to weak lead/3b allin. I lead for 10-12 iirc. He disappointed me by just calling. Turn ($46ish) is the beautiful T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I'll stop the hand right here. What are you preferred lines for maximizing value. |
