Deception's well and fine if you're playing with 100BB stacks against a 17/15 TAG who makes a real 3bet. Not so much with largish stacks against a donk who min3bet.

Hmmm, I disagree. If he has something like A8o, he is folding to a 4 bet. If he has something like qq, we're likely getting it in on the flop regardless. If I 4 bet, he is getting rid of hands that I would gain a cbet with on the flop.
