Default Re: USC / Stanford

[ QUOTE ]
Two things:
1. This wasn't even the biggest upset of the season (the prize there goes to App St. over Michigan in week one).

[/ QUOTE ]

This is hugely wrong. Everyone who watches CFB a significant amount knew AppSt could beat 33% of D-1 teams.

The spread was 10 pts bigger on Stanford.

Stanford had lost their prior game, at home, 42-3 to a weaker team than USC.
Their QB had a seizure, and a backup who hadn't played before had to start, on the road, vs a #1 team.

All the USC apologists should give up. Spread of 41-42 vs 31-32 on Mich is all you need to know.
